ETSINO

International

The studies of Naval Engineering were first taught in the Technical University of Cartagena in 1977 in the Escuela Universitaria de Ingeniería Técnica Naval (EUITN, Technical School of Naval Engineering). In those days was only available the Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering (Marine Structures specialty). In 2003 was stablished the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Naval y Oceánica (ETSINO, Higher Technical School of Naval and Ocean Engineering). With the creation of the ETSINO both Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Naval Engineering are available in the Technical University of Cartagena. Nowadays ETSINO offers:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Systems

All subjects are taught in Spanish. This Bachelor’s degree programme will teach you to develop multidisciplinary problem-solving skills in the fields of design, construction and maintenance of ships.

  • Master Degree in Naval and Ocean Engineering

All subjects are taught in Spanish. This Master’s degree programme will teach you to handle the entire process of design, construction, production, maintenance and management of ships and offshore facilities.
